Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Kentucky University and his MBA from the University of Evansville. Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Kentucky Society of CPAs.
Steve has more than 30 years of progressive experience in financial management. Early in his career, he discovered that he enjoyed working with rapidly expanding businesses that require assistance with special projects or the design and implementation of processes that facilitate growth.
Steve has had the opportunity to lead growth initiatives through mergers, acquisitions, and the expansion of product lines. He successfully transitioned across various industries, gaining in-depth experience in the areas of

He welcomes challenges and enjoys developing new ideas for process efficiency. He effectively supports executive management by providing complete and accurate financial information in a timely manner. Additionally, he is successful in developing cultures of integrity and professional growth within the organization.
Steve believes in the importance of community involvement and working with youth. He has served as President of the Owensboro Lions Club and as a Director of the local Soap Box Derby Committee associated with the club.  Additionally, he has coached youth baseball and basketball, serving as a Board Member and Treasurer for the East Daviess County Little League. He has also held the position of Assistant Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 611 and contributed by working in the high school baseball scoring booth at Daviess County High School. Furthermore, he is actively involved with First Baptist Church.
